Digital signage can be controlled from one central location using Scala Content Manager. Many companies start with a small digital signage network that can be controlled manually since there are few variables, but as a network grows and additional complexities are added, managing and controlling that network becomes more difficult. Scala Content Manager gives users total control of their digital signage system from any internet connected PC.

Digital signage players can refer to the hardware or software needed at the sign site to process and display the content delivered via the network. In the Scala digital signage platform our Player product is software which would then be installed on a player PC that would reside at or near the display site. Many different types of hardware can be used as player PCs, and the requirements for these PCs vary based on the type of content being delivered and the frequency of delivery. These players could be configured to generate more that one discrete channel of content, representing significant cost savings.
